Hi, I'm Pilo

From Glastonbury to Jools Holland, I've shared stages and studios with artists like Nick Mulvey and Nubiyan Twist. My production is heard on Blanco White's records, Red Bull's sync catalogue and releases through BMG.

But even with all that experience, I still vividly remember what it felt like the first time I opened music production software. All those buttons and faders — I was overwhelmed and had no idea what any of it meant. What I wished I'd had back then was someone to sit down with me and show me exactly how to make and finish a full track, step by step. That's what this is.

What is the reference track?

A short original piece I produce specifically in your style — based on the influences you share. It's not a remix or a cover. It's my interpretation of the sound you described, so you can hear my approach before committing to anything.

What if I don't know my 5 influences yet?

Drop what you have — even 2 or 3 is fine. Tracks you keep replaying, Spotify artists you've saved, a genre you love, or even a mood. I'll work from there and make something that feels right.

I've never made music before. Is this too advanced?

Not at all. We'll start from scratch and I'll guide you every step of the way — even if you've never opened a DAW before.

Do I need to understand music theory?

No. We work from your influences and instincts — theory comes in only where it's useful, and always in plain language.

Do I need to buy software before joining?

No. You can start with the free trial of Ableton Live. I'll help you set it up before our first session.

What if I can't make a session?

No stress. You'll have access to recordings and we can reschedule where possible.
